Has it been that long since I've been able to run my hands through your fur? Or to rub your ears? Where has the time gone? Are you still here? Did you notice how I keep your water dish full in case you come home? This is still your home.

Thanks guys, I like to think that something of him is still in the ether. Hopefully, he knows that his water dish is always here for him. Hell, if he wants to sleep in my bed while I'm out he can do that too. Funny how one's attitude changes when that loved one is no longer around.

jackson will always be with you... that part of your lives that you shared can never be taken away.
I actually think about the two of you on occasions.
I have my own dog now, Ripley, she's my Jackson - and sometimes I feel bad that she's here and Jackson isn't. It would have been great for them to meet and hang out and sniff things.
I'm sure that Ripley and Jackson would have had a grand ol' time. This pupster wouldn't be named after a certain ex/o from the movie "Alien" on the ship Nostromo would she? That would be very cool.
